Dr. Joy Quitberg

Associate Optometrist

Dr. Joy Quitberg, a distinguished optometrist with over two decades of experience, brings her expertise and compassion to Lumen Vision in Fargo, ND. Originally from Williston, ND, Dr. Quitberg’s passion for eye care led her to Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, where she earned a degree in Visual Science and a Doctorate of Optometry.

Her career spans diverse roles, from vision therapy and primary care at Visual Strategies in Apple Valley, MN, and Drs. North & Watson Optometrists in Minnetonka, MN, to comprehensive eye care at MeritCare Valley City Eye Clinic in Valley City, ND, for a decade. In 2017, she joined Sanford Health Detroit Lakes Eye Center & Optical in Detroit Lakes, MN, specializing in pediatric and family eye care.

A committed member of the American Optometric Association and Minnesota Optometric Association, Dr. Quitberg also dedicates herself to global health, volunteering on Lion’s Club mission trips to provide eye care to underserved communities. Her patient-centered philosophy ensures every individual receives the same care and attention she would give her own family.

Beyond her practice, Dr. Quitberg enjoys quality time with her husband and sons, immersing herself in reading, hiking, and cooking. Her blend of professional excellence, warmth, and community spirit makes her an invaluable asset to Lumen Vision.
